Regulation & protection
3.2 /5Fintana Trading Ltd operates Fintana from Mauritius under FSC (Mauritius) Investment Dealer licence GB23201338, and the client documents provide no investor compensation scheme.
Pros
- Negative balance protection for retail clients in the client agreement
- Client money held in segregated accounts under the client agreement
Cons
- No investor compensation scheme for client accounts
- Added to the Securities Commission Malaysia Investor Alert List in January 2026
Clients contract with Fintana Trading Ltd, a Global Business Company registered in Mauritius under company number 197666, with offices in Ebene. The FSC (Mauritius) register lists Fintana Trading Ltd as an Investment Dealer (full-service dealer, excluding underwriting), licensed on 5 June 2023; its legal documents give the licence number GB23201338. Mauritius law governs the client relationship, and disputes go to the courts of Mauritius.
The client agreement grants negative balance protection to retail clients and states that client money is kept in segregated accounts. These can be omnibus accounts, and the agreement excludes the firm’s liability if a bank holding client money fails. The client documents provide no investor compensation scheme. The website footer also names IGM Forex Ltd, a group company licensed by CySEC (Cyprus) under number 309/16; clients contract with Fintana Trading Ltd and are not covered by the group firm’s licence.
Under the order execution policy, the firm transmits client orders straight through to an execution venue, has no best-execution obligation and can refuse to transmit an order without giving a reason.
On 8 January 2026, the Securities Commission Malaysia added Fintana to its Investor Alert List, which names unauthorised websites, products, companies and individuals. On 5 October 2026, Trustpilot showed no TrustScore for Fintana and stated that the company had breached its guidelines and that fake reviews had been removed; 82% of the 91 reviews listed were one-star.

- $10 minimum for card withdrawals
Cons
- $30 fee and $100 minimum on wire withdrawals
- Withdrawal processing takes 8 to 10 business days
- Bonus withdrawable only after $20 million traded per $1,000 of bonus
Deposits are accepted by credit and debit card, bank wire transfer and alternative payment methods. The minimum deposit is $250 or the equivalent in the account currency. Fintana charges no deposit fee; payment-provider and currency-conversion charges are passed on where they apply.
- Card withdrawals: $10 minimum, no broker fee.
- Bank wire withdrawals: $100 minimum, $30 fee.
- E-wallet withdrawals: no broker fee and no minimum beyond the payment charges.
- Third-party payment charges on any withdrawal are debited to the trading account.
- Processing time: 8 to 10 business days.
Withdrawals go back to the original deposit method in the account holder’s name after balance, identity and deposit-history checks.
The credit bonus is discretionary. Bonus funds become withdrawable only after $20 million in traded volume per $1,000 of bonus, about 200 standard lots of a USD-based currency pair. The bonus is revoked after 15 days without trading, the terms allow the firm to cancel profits when it suspects abuse, and its decisions under the bonus terms are final.
Account opening
4.1 /5Registration opens a demo account with $100,000 in virtual funds, and a live account starts at $250 in one of five tiers.
Pros
- Demo account with $100,000 in virtual funds on registration
- Accounts in US dollars, euros, Swiss francs or pounds
Cons
- EU, UK, US and Canadian residents are on the restricted list
Registering on the website activates a demo account with $100,000 in virtual funds. A live account requires a $250 minimum deposit or the equivalent and can be held in US dollars, euros, Swiss francs or pounds sterling. Withdrawals require completed identity checks.
The five account tiers are Classic, Silver, Gold, Platinum and VIP. Every tier has the same leverage limits, trade sizes from 0.01 to 50 lots, a margin call at 100% and a stop-out at 20%; spreads fall on the higher tiers.
Fintana does not accept residents of the United States, Canada, Russia, Belarus, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Myanmar, the United Kingdom or the European Union. Under the client agreement, the firm can accept EU residents case by case when the contact comes from the client; such accounts fall under the Mauritius licence, without EU investor protection.
Web platform
4.1 /5Fintana WebTrader is the broker’s own browser platform with TradingView charting, and the client agreement bans automated trading.
Pros
- TradingView charting in the browser platform
- Browser access without a software download
Cons
- No MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 or cTrader
- Robots, AI tools and algorithmic trading are banned
Trading runs through Fintana WebTrader, the broker’s own browser platform, with charts powered by TradingView.
The client agreement prohibits robots, AI tools and algorithmic trading; suspected use can lead to account suspension and frozen funds. The order execution policy bans high-frequency trading unless the firm authorises it, and the client agreement allows profits attributed to arbitrage to be withheld.
Margin call is set at a 100% margin level and stop-out at 20%. The risk disclosure allows the firm to close positions at its discretion once the margin level falls to around 50%.
