ZuluTrade in a nutshell

Review basis

Documentation review using current first-party product, help and legal pages. No live-money performance test was performed.

What the score covers

Access, regulation, fee presentation and broker dependence. Leader returns are excluded.

What remains unknown

Broker and Leader determine cost, execution and future risk.

Editorial summary

ZuluTrade is a multi-broker copy platform connecting investors with public Leaders. Its current pricing page says users pay no ZuluTrade subscription fee, while broker costs remain; older profit-sharing documents are still online, so current account terms should take priority.

ZuluTrade connects brokerage accounts to public Leaders across several assets and supports multiple broker integration models.

The current pricing page says platform users do not pay a ZuluTrade subscription fee. Broker spreads, commissions and financing still apply.

Older profit-sharing material remains online, though new legacy profit-sharing investor accounts ended in 2022. HCMC regulation of the EEA service does not verify any Leader's results.

ZuluTrade is a broker-agnostic social and copy-trading platform with many public Leaders. It was established in 2007 and identifies Greece as its head office. Regulation of the EEA service supports the identity and conduct of the platform operator; it does not verify a Leader's trading claims or make the return shown on one profile representative of the service.

The follower connects through an integrated, supported or co-branded broker and chooses Leaders and risk settings. Broker leverage, symbols, spreads, financing and execution can alter copied results. The platform's ranking and risk controls help organise choices, but a follower still needs to inspect open trades, concentration, account age, maximum drawdown and whether the Leader has changed behaviour after attracting capital.

The current pricing page says platform users do not pay a ZuluTrade subscription fee. Broker costs remain. Older profit-sharing descriptions are still accessible, although new investor accounts under the legacy profit-sharing model ended in 2022. For the current no-subscription presentation a performance-fee high-water mark is not applicable; users with older or broker-specific arrangements must check their own agreement.

Build a shortlist using a minimum live history and reject records driven by deposits or one concentrated position. Run a small allocation, compare copied prices with the Leader log and define a portfolio-level loss limit. Keep evidence from the version of the profile you selected because rankings and statistics change. The platform record is useful monitoring, not an independent audit or promise of future performance.

Track record verification

3.4 /5

Leader statistics are public.

They are platform records, not independent audits. Platform statistics belong to the selected leader and can change; they are not a verified return for the copy service itself.

Risk profile

3.6 /5

Users can manage broker and allocations.

Broker, Leader and execution risk layer together. The follower must review leverage, concentration, open positions and loss history for each leader before allocating capital.

Strategy clarity

3.7 /5

Profiles and connections are documented.

Legacy fee documents create ambiguity. A category label is insufficient; the record should explain instruments, holding period, concentration and the conditions that can change the approach.

Drawdown

3.3 /5

Drawdown is Leader-specific.

No platform-wide value applies. Displayed drawdown is historical and leader-specific, so the follower still needs an allocation limit and an exit rule for future losses.

Cost

3.8 /5

No current ZuluTrade subscription fee.

Broker and legacy-account costs vary. The score includes every published platform or subscription charge we could identify, while broker spreads, financing and slippage remain account-specific.

Frequently asked questions

  • Subscription fee?
The current pricing page says users pay no ZuluTrade subscription fee; broker costs apply.

  • Do legacy fees apply to every new account?
No. New legacy profit-sharing investor accounts ended in April 2022.
