LizardIndicators Library in a nutshell

Review basis

Documentation review using current first-party product, help and legal pages. No live-money performance test was performed.

What the score covers

Licence, scope, support and disclosure. A library cannot have one accuracy score.

What remains unknown

Each study's usefulness depends on market and setup.

Editorial summary

LizardIndicators sells a NinjaTrader 8 library with more than 145 indicators under a one-time licence. Platform limits, activation and the absence of in-depth backtests are stated clearly, but users still need to test the specific study they intend to use.

The Indicator Library is a collection for NinjaTrader 8, not one signal system. Its value depends on the included studies a user actually needs.

The provider lists a one-time USD 195 licence with future library updates. Premium indicators remain separate.

The FAQ documents two-machine activation and says it does not provide in-depth backtest results. That limitation is more honest than implying one win rate for an entire library.

LizardIndicators sells a library for NinjaTrader 8, not a single signal engine. The collection spans trend, momentum, volatility, support and resistance, price action and volume tools. Each study therefore needs its own hypothesis and test. A library-wide win rate would be meaningless because users can select different indicators, parameters, instruments and execution rules.

The public offer lists a USD 195 one-time library licence, activation for two machines and future library updates. Premium indicators and custom work are separate products. The provider says there are no weekly, monthly or yearly subscription fees for its indicators. Buyers should still confirm which studies are in the base library at checkout and whether a desired tool sits in the Premium Suite.

The company identifies Alderlab UG in Berlin and says the library launched shortly after the business began in 2015. Its FAQ also says much of the work is open source, which conflicts with the original record's blanket proprietary label. The repaired facts therefore use 'partly open source' and avoid claiming that every library component exposes code or uses the same licence.

The FAQ states that in-depth backtest results are not provided. That is an honest boundary, but it leaves performance validation to the buyer. Choose only the studies tied to a written setup, determine whether their values can change after a bar closes, and run an out-of-sample NinjaTrader test with commission and slippage. Do not count the number of included indicators as evidence of an edge.

Trust & transparency

4.2 /5

Platform, licence and backtest limits are clear.

No library-wide result is inferred. The score rewards clear operating and legal disclosures while treating proprietary code and provider testimonials as evidence limits.

Configurability

4.0 /5

A broad set of studies offers many inputs.

Controls vary by study. More controls are useful only when settings can be frozen, documented and tested without selecting parameters after seeing the outcome.

Documentation

4.1 /5

Product and FAQ explain access and support.

Exact parameters require each study page. We look for enough first-party detail to reproduce the setup and identify failure conditions; marketing examples alone do not meet that standard.

Maintenance

4.0 /5

Future library updates are included.

Premium products remain separate.
