LuxAlgo Signals & Overlays Review & Trader Rating
LuxAlgo Signals & Overlays in a nutshell
Review basis
Documentation review using current first-party product, help and legal pages. No live-money performance test was performed.
What the score covers
Documentation, controls, alerts and terms. It does not measure profitability.
What remains unknown
Forward accuracy for a chosen market, timeframe and configuration remains untested.
LuxAlgo Signals & Overlays combines confirmation and contrarian signals, overlays, dashboards and alerts in TradingView. Documentation is unusually detailed, but the script is closed source and a recent-candle signal can change before confirmation, so it should be paper-tested as a configurable toolkit rather than treated as a proven system.
Signals & Overlays is one toolkit in LuxAlgo's paid TradingView package, combining signal modes, trend overlays, dashboard tools and alerts.
LuxAlgo states that a signal on the most recent candle can change and is confirmed at the next candle's opening. Live and confirmed-bar observations must be logged separately.
The dashboard's recent-bar optimisation is a configuration aid, not forward performance. Paid plans publish a 30-day guarantee for the first payment; renewals are excluded.
Signals & Overlays is a configurable TradingView toolkit rather than a complete trading strategy. It combines confirmation and contrarian signals with trend overlays, dashboards, candle colouring and alert conditions. The user must still decide which market and timeframe to trade, how multiple signals interact, when a setup is invalid and how much capital can be lost on one idea.
LuxAlgo's documentation is stronger than a typical indicator sales page because it describes the controls and signal timing. A material detail is that a signal on the most recent candle can change and is only confirmed at the next candle's opening. An evaluation must therefore separate intrabar marks from confirmed-bar signals; otherwise a historical chart can look cleaner than the alerts a user actually received.
Access requires a paid LuxAlgo plan and a TradingView account. The recorded public tier was USD 39.99 per month, with promotional or longer billing terms subject to change at checkout. The first paid purchase carries a published 30-day guarantee, while renewals are excluded. The script is invite-only and proprietary, so its exact calculations cannot be independently inspected.
The dashboard's optimisation and recent-bar summaries are configuration aids, not proof of future profitability. Test one frozen preset on unseen data, preserve every alert with its timestamp, and include TradingView plan limits and trading costs. Compare confirmed entries, adverse excursion and missed alerts across several market regimes before changing sensitivity; repeated retuning after losses creates selection bias.
