How we review copy-trading services

Copy-trading reviews look at what you actually inherit when you copy a strategy: how allocations are sized, where execution can diverge from the lead trader, which risk controls you can set, the fee layers (spread, performance fee, subscription), how dependent the service is on a single broker, and how transparent the histories of the lead traders are. We also record the minimum allocation, whether copying can be stopped instantly, and what happens to open positions when you stop.

The ranking orders services by composite score from trader ratings, the editorial audit of mechanics and disclosure, and ratings from independent external platforms. Our guide to copy trading risk inheritance explains why two copiers of the same trader can end with different results.

Past results of a lead trader are not a forecast, and copying does not remove the risk of losing the capital you allocate.
